Bristol Sox outfielder Trayce Thompson leads off of first base after drawing a walk in his first plate appearance as a professional player. Trayce was drafted in the second round of the 2009 draft by the White Sox and had committed to play baseball at UCLA before signing with the White Sox last week. Trayce is the son of former NBA player Mychal Thompson.
